Terms & Cancellation
These terms apply to every diagnosis purchased through this site. They do not take away or reduce your rights under UK consumer law.

01 — Who you are contracting with
The service provider
Piano Technique Diagnosis, operated by Edita Stankeviciute, based in Berkshire, England. Contact: hello@pianotechniquediagnosis.com. That address is also where you should send anything relating to these terms, including a cancellation.
02 — What the service is
Remote diagnosis, not a lesson
You describe the problem you are experiencing and submit a video of the playing. Edita analyses what is actually happening, identifies the underlying cause, points out any additional technical problems she can see, and sets out what should be corrected and in what order.
This is a remote analysis of submitted material. It is not an in-person lesson, it is not a course of tuition, and it is not medical advice. If you are in pain or have an injury, please also consult a qualified medical professional.
03 — Packages and prices

Prices are in pounds sterling, include any applicable tax, and are the same wherever you are in the world. A follow-up is a reassessment of a new video after you have worked on the corrections. Unused follow-ups expire at the end of the validity period.
04 — Delivery
Timing and footage quality
Your initial diagnosis is normally returned within 3 working days of a confirmed payment and a usable video. Follow-up assessments are returned on the same timescale. This is a target rather than a guaranteed deadline; if anything will take materially longer, you will be told.
If the angle or quality of your footage does not allow a proper assessment, you will be asked for another recording at no additional charge. Uploads are limited to 250 MB per file; you may paste a video link instead for anything larger.
05 — Your 14-day cancellation right
Cancelling a distance contract
Because you are buying a service at a distance, you normally have 14 days from the day the contract is made to cancel for any reason and receive a refund.
Before paying, you are asked to tick a box expressly requesting that work begins during that 14-day period. That request is what allows the diagnosis to start straight away instead of after a fortnight. The consequences are:
- AWork has begun, not finishedYou may still cancel. You must pay only for what has actually been supplied up to the moment you tell us — a proportion of the price reflecting the work done, not the whole amount. The balance is refunded.
- BThe service has been fully performedOnce your diagnosis has been delivered in full, following your express request and your acknowledgement that this would happen, the 14-day cancellation right has come to an end and the fee is payable.
- CWork has not begunCancel within the 14 days and you receive a full refund.
Where a package includes follow-ups, delivery of the initial diagnosis does not by itself complete the whole package. Follow-ups not yet supplied are still cancellable, and any refund reflects the proportion not yet provided.
Refunds are made using the same payment method you used, within 14 days of us accepting the cancellation.
06 — How to cancel
Tell us in writing
Email hello@pianotechniquediagnosis.com with your case reference. A clear statement in your own words is enough — you do not have to use the form below. To meet the deadline it is enough that you send your message before the 14 days expire.

07 — Your statutory rights
What the law gives you
The service will be performed with reasonable care and skill, as required by the Consumer Rights Act 2015. If it is not, you may be entitled to have the problem put right or to a price reduction.
Nothing in these terms excludes or restricts your statutory rights as a consumer, and nothing here limits liability for death or personal injury caused by negligence, or for fraud. If any part of these terms conflicts with your statutory rights, your statutory rights prevail.
08 — Your material
Videos and confidentiality
Your video and description are used solely to prepare your diagnosis and any follow-ups. Videos are stored privately, are never published or shared without your explicit written permission, and are deleted on request. Where the pianist is under 18, the submission must be made by a parent or legal guardian, or by the child’s teacher with the parent or guardian’s permission. 09 — Governing law
Jurisdiction
These terms are governed by the law of England and Wales. If you live elsewhere in the UK you may bring proceedings in your own jurisdiction. Nothing here affects your right to bring a claim in the courts of the country where you live.
